London nursery hosts Halloween cake sale for charity
Date: 18 Nov 2019
Children and staff at Bright Horizons East India Dock Day Nursery in London recently organised a Halloween cake sale to raise money for the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children.
“It was lovely to see the whole team pull together for this worthwhile cause, we certainly have some creative staff here at East India Dock Day Nursery,” said Nursery Manager Katherine Saunders. “I feel so proud of each and every one of them – we raised a spooktacular £324.25.”
Set up in 2005, the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children’s sole purpose is to help children and families in crisis. They achieve this by working with local community groups, shelters and with Bright Horizons clients to create Bright Spaces®, which are indoor and outdoor play spaces located in homeless shelters, domestic violence refuges and refugee centres.
The spaces are created in order to provide children and families in need with a special place to play, have fun and most of all feel safe.
