Staffordshire nursery achieves fourth Outstanding status in Ofsted report

Bright Horizons Springfields Day Nursery and Preschool, which is based in Lichfield, Staffordshire, has once again been awarded an Outstanding rating by Ofsted. This latest achievement is a result of an inspection by Ofsted on February 13^th. 

The nursery was previously awarded an Outstanding classification by Ofsted back in November 2019. Ofsted reports on four main areas; quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership management. The nursery once again passed all these categories with an Outstanding grade with its nurturing learning environment and the excellent communication between staff and parents among the key highlights of the report.

• “The manager is a passionate and inspirational leader. She empowers staff to plan and lead the children's learning within their rooms, while keeping meticulous oversight throughout the nursery. If any weaknesses are identified, support plans are swiftly implemented so quick improvements are made.”
  
  
• “The curriculum is ambitious and highly effective at ensuring all children gain the skills required for their eventual move to school. Children make outstanding progress.”
  
  
• “Support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) is amazing. Staff are in tune with every child and are dedicated to support children who may need extra help.”

Nursery Manager, Helen said: “We are delighted to have received this fourth Outstanding Ofsted result. Our team have worked so hard to ensure that each child’s individual needs are consistently met, and we continue to nurture each child to ensure they can grow and develop their skills. Our Bright Beginnings Curriculum ensures that every child receives the best early years care, focusing on learning through play. At Springfields Day Nursery and Preschool we are passionate about giving each child the opportunity to flourish and reach their full potential, and so I’m happy that this has been recognised by Ofsted in our most recent report.”
