Bright Horizons nurseries up and down the country celebrated their ‘Hop Into Spring’ themed opened days over this past weekend.
The open days involved many spring-themed crafts and activities for the children to be able to engage with the various nursery environments. One setting was even visited by a mobile farm where the children enjoyed meeting lambs, chicks, and other spring-time animals! For the parents, the open day provided the chance to explore the spaces and resources available for the little ones, and chat to current families and nursery practitioners over refreshments. Here's how some of the nurseries got on:
Bright Horizons Bracknell Day Nursery and Preschool boasted bright spring-time decorations when welcoming new and existing families to the setting.
Families at Bright Horizons Frimley Green were visited by the Mayor of Surrey Heath as well as Miller’s Ark mobile farm. The nursery team also managed to raise over £370 in donations for the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children.
Chigwell Day Nursery and Preschool enjoyed the day with lots of Springtime and Easter themed activities such as an Easter egg hunt, decorating bonnets and baskets, and making masks and yummy biscuits. On top of this, the children even got a visit from the Easter Bunny.
The nursery team at Andover Day Nursery and Preschool were busy setting up a range of sensory spring-themed experiences for the children. Even Sally Slimy-Bottom, the nursery snail, seemed to be having fun!
Kenilworth nursery not only hosted an exciting open day with activities such as flower painting, mud kitchen play and obstacle course, but also celebrated it’s opening following its most recent refurbishment! Iain Colledge, Executive Director of Operations at Bright Horizons UK, was in attendance for the celebrations.
