Trafford nursery receives fourth Outstanding Ofsted result

Bright Horizons at Trafford Nursery and Preschool in Manchester received an ‘Outstanding’ result in its most recent Ofsted inspection, making it their fourth outstanding result in a row.

The report acknowledged the nurseries Bright Beginnings Curriculum which focuses on nurturing and developing the skills each child needs; dedicated and caring staff; and excellent relationships between team members and parents. Bright Horizons Trafford Ofsted rated Outstanding

Nursery manager of Bright Horizons at Trafford Nursery and Preschool, Emma, said: “We are over the moon to have received our fourth ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted result. I am extremely proud of all our practitioners and I’m happy that all their hard work is being acknowledged. We will continue to deliver the very best Early Years care through our Bright Beginnings curriculum, ensuring a focus on each child’s wellbeing, and an excellent introduction to learning for every child.”

The inspection, which took place on August 14th, found all four areas inspected as ‘Outstanding’. Ofsted reports on four key categories: quality of education; behaviour and attitudes; personal development; and leadership management. The inspection was carried out through a variety of tasks including staff and parent interviews and observational activities. Some comments from the report included:

  • “Staff’s interactions with children significantly promotes children’s communication and language skills. Children demonstrate excellent conversational skills.”

  • “Leaders have developed a remarkable relationship with parents. Parents state these exceptional relationships have helped their children to make excellent progress with their development since they have started attending.”

  • All children benefit from an inspiring curriculum. Staff understand how to motivate children to learn by seeing their opinions to shape the experiences they offer. Children develop a thirst for knowledge and make excellent progress.”

To achieve this result for the fourth time is an amazing achievement, and it is evidence of how dedicated the nursery practitioners are. They go above and beyond, every single day to develop exciting opportunities and experiences for each individual child, to help them develop skills for school and beyond.”
