Mayor of Bromley celebrates the opening of brand new nursery

The Mayor of Bromley, Councillor Mike Botting, officially opened the recently renovated nursery, Bright Horizons Bromley Day Nursery and Preschool, located on College Road, where the nursery held an exciting grand opening day for the community.

Nikki, Nursery Manager at Bright Horizons Bromley Day Nursery and Preschool, said: “We feel incredibly excited to have been able to open our brand-new setting today for the community and new families to visit and meet our wonderful team. There has been so much work that has gone into transforming this building to make sure we are well resourced to support each child’s need. We are so delighted to see how much the children are enjoying our amazing environment. It’s such an exciting time.”

The Mayor of Bromley, Councillor Mike Botting was joined by the Mayoress of Bromley, Councillor Kim Botting, as they both took part in the celebrations and officially declared the nursery ‘open’.

The Mayor of Bromley, Councillor Mike Botting said: “It was wonderful to see the local community and families come together at this new Bright Horizons nursery, which makes a welcome addition to the borough’s great range of nurseries and preschools. I was delighted to have been given a tour of the facilities at Bromley Day Nursery and to see the engaging environment that has been created for the children. We enjoyed joining in with all the fun and can see there is already such an inspiring team of dedicated Early Years practitioners ready to welcome children to the setting.”

The brand-new nursery boasts of easy free flow access for preschoolers and under twos, with each group having their own gardens to improve physical development, along with bright and spacious rooms with brand new resources to support children’s learning journey. The curriculum in use at Bright Horizons Bromley is in place across all Bright Horizons nurseries in England. It is called Bright Beginnings and was designed to acknowledge the individual voice and needs of each child to promote confidence, wellbeing, and a genuine love for learning.
