Nursery in Sawbridgeworth achieves first Outstanding status in Ofsted report

Bright Horizons Asquith Barley Barn Sawbridgeworth Day Nursery, which is based in Hertfordshire, has been awarded their first Outstanding rating by Ofsted. This latest achievement is a result of an inspection by Ofsted on February 21stNursery in Sawbridgeworth achieves first Outstanding status in Ofsted report.

Ofsted reports on four main areas; quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership management. The nursery passed all these categories with an Outstanding grade with staff being extremely keen to develop new skills such as sign language and they plan and implement a highly ambitious curriculum among the key highlights of the report.

  • “Partnerships with parents are highly successful. Parents share how happy they are with the care their children receive. They comment on the excellent progress their children are making.”

  • “Leaders are passionate about providing exceptionally high levels of care and learning for children. They continually encourage and support staff to build on their existing knowledge.”

  • “Partnerships with other professionals ensure that staff can seek prompt support and guidance to help children who have special educational needs and/or disabilities.”

Nursery Manager, Rosie shared her thoughts on the positive result:

“It was wonderful to see we’ve received an Outstanding Ofsted result for our team’s hard work and the dedication they’ve put into ensuring we provide high quality education. To see this was observed and recognised in the report was great and a testament to the passionate practitioners we have at our setting in nurturing each child to reach their full potential.”
