Spacious new nursery opening in Bromley announce Nursery Manager

A newly refurbished Bright Horizons Nursery and Preschool in Bromley, London, will be led by Nursery Manager Nikki, who will be fulfilling her role when it opens in early September.

Nikki has more than 16 years of experience working in Early Years and is excited to be taking on the role at a brand-new Bright Horizons nursery.

The new Bromley Day Nursery and Preschool, located on College Road, will employ approximately 30 people and will be open for children aged 3 months to 5 years old. The building is undergoing renovations to create easy free flow access for preschoolers and under twos to have to their own gardens and the interior is having a complete change to make sure all rooms are well-resourced for the children.

Nikki said: “It’s an exciting step I’m taking in my career with Bright Horizons, as I have been with the company for 16 years and I have been working as a nursery manager for seven years. I’m thrilled to oversee a brand-new Bright Horizons nursery in London and being able to welcome families to the new space. We want to dedicate the nursey to supporting each child that walks through the door with our Bright Beginnings Curriculum focusing on their wellbeing and reaching their full potential.”

“Working in Early Years is extremely rewarding. I have such a passion for working with children and getting to be a part of their journey before heading off to school for the first time. Being in this role has enabled me to complete my level 5 course on leadership and management at Bright Horizons and it means I can really get stuck in with coaching the team and supporting them in their careers. I can’t wait to share my knowledge and passion for early years with the team in September as we welcome new families.”

Nikki started her career as a nursery assistant in 2007 at a Bright Horizons nursery in Eltham where she worked her way up to being a third in charge and completing her level three qualification in childcare. By 2012 she became a Deputy Manager at Sidcup Day Nursery and Preschool and progressed her way to becoming Nursery Manager in 2016.

Bromley Day Nursery and Preschool will also be welcoming Natasha, Deputy Manager, to the new setting. Natasha began her career as a student where she completed her NVQ level three in childcare and she eventually completed a level three diploma in management, this helped her progress into her role as deputy manager.

Natasha comments: “I’m really looking forward to joining Nikki in overseeing Bromley Day Nursery and Preschool. With over 10 years of experience in Early Years, I have built on my knowledge and passion with working with young children and it’s going to be great to be able to share this with the team at the nursery. This new setting with a great outdoor space will be wonderful to incorporate our Bright Beginnings curriculum with the children learning in a creative and imaginative space providing them with opportunities and experiences. I look forward to supporting the children and families on their journey with Bright Horizons.”
