Edinburgh nursery listed as finalist for prestigious award
Date: 30 Jun 2018
Bright Horizons Cramond Early Learning and Childcare in Edinburgh has been announced as a finalist in the Best Indoor Environment category at the Scottish NMT Awards 2018.
Winners of the awards will be presented with their trophies at the high profile Gala Night held on Friday 31st August at the Glasgow Hilton Hotel, attended by approximately 400 guests.
“The staff and management team at Bright Horizons Early learning and Childcare are honoured to have been chosen as a finalist for the NMT Indoor Environment Award for 2018,” said Nursery Manager Pauline Cant. “Our goal over the last year has been to improve our play spaces to create areas for children to experiment and use their natural curiosity. Our nursery encourages children to move resources between areas and to experiment to see what will happen. It's all part of the process where the learning happens and the end result is just a bonus.
“Giving children the confidence to know that it's alright to try and fail and try again and learn things new along the way is what we hope to achieve on a daily basis. We are so proud that this has been recognised by those who nominated us. Just like our children we hope to keep learning and growing every day.”
