Great Cornard children enjoy police dog visit

Date: 28 Jun 2018

Children at Bright Horizons Great Cornard Crocus Early Years Centre nursery in Sudbury were recently treated to a visit from two police dogs.

The policeman that brought the dogs along to the nursery explained how the dogs support the police in their everyday work. The children were able to stroke the dogs and watch them in action.

“The children were also able to explore some of the equipment the police use on a daily basis such as handcuffs,” said Nursery Manager Jo Bullock. “They tried on a police helmet and sat in the driver seat of the police car.”
