Dartford children create their own alphabet garden
Date: 27 Apr 2018
Children at Bright Horizons Springfield Lodge Dartford Day Nursery and Preschool recently created their own alphabet garden, as part of the organisation’s Growing Writers enhancement.
The children wrote letters onto pieces of small coloured cardboard, which they had cut out first to look like flowers and leaves. This also helped to improve their fine motor skills.
“The children had a great time making their own alphabet garden and enjoyed choosing their own colours for flowers as well,” said Nursery Manager Stacey Dowsett.
Bright Horizons’ Growing Writers enhancement aims to support a child on their magical journey to become a creative writer.
