Bright Horizons Asquith Golders Green Day Nursery and Pre-School in Brent Cross has been rated as ‘Outstanding’ after receiving its recent Ofsted inspection report.
The nursery received its inspection on September 18th and was rated as ‘Outstanding’ in all four areas of inspection: Effectiveness of the leadership and management; Quality of teaching, learning and assessment; Personal development, behaviour and welfare; Outcomes for children.
Inspection activities included the inspector observing the quality of the teaching both during indoor and outdoor activities, as well as talking to staff and children throughout. Comments from the report included:
- The members of the inspirational leadership team are highly reflective practitioners and fully committed to improving already excellent standards. The implement extremely effective measurers to evaluate the strengths of the nursery and identify areas for further development. They involve parents, children and staff in this process.
- Staff are particularly warm and caring and form exceptional relationships with children. They meet children’s emotional needs extremely well and children are happy, secure and ready to learn.
- Children make excellent progress relative to their starting points. All children, including those learning English as an additional language, are ready for the next stage in their learning.
