Edinburgh nursery children explore local woodland
Date: 14 Sep 2017
Children at Bright Horizons Cramond Early Learning and Childcare centre in Edinburgh have been exploring the local woodland area close to the nursery.
With work going on to improve the fish pass at Cramond River, the children went on an outing to see the work take place, accompanied by health and safety mascot Candy Floss.
“Candy Floss was involved to help the children talk about safety while walking through the woodland area and exploring the river,” said Nursery Manager Pauline Cant. “This has generated lots of conversations about involvement in the community and being safe.”
