Aberdeen nursery children discover snails

Date: 08 Aug 2017

Children at Bright Horizons First Class Nursery in Aberdeen have been learning more about snails after recently discovering one outside.

Whilst looking through the dinosaur den at the nursery, the children came across the snail and were keen to learn more about the species.

“The children wanted to know how its shell stays on its back, so we will be researching the anatomy of the snail,” said Nursery Manager Corrie Kitching.

Bright Horizons health and safety mascot Candy Floss was also present to remind the children of the importance of washing their hands after holding the snail.
