The Bright Horizons Foundation for Children has coordinated a collection of items to go towards victims of the Grenfell Tower fire disaster.
Bright Horizons nurseries and offices across the country recently set up a number of donation stations which were filled with items such as nappies, wipes, toiletries, new underwear, colouring pencils and paper. More than 100 boxes were filled with donations from staff and families at locations including Manchester, Surrey, Cambridge and Oxford.
“We have been deeply moved by the tragedy at Grenfell Tower and felt compelled to something to make a difference to the children and families affected,” said James Tugendhat, Managing Director International at Bright Horizons. “The response from our staff and families has been incredible and we are so grateful for their support in helping to make a difference.”
The items will be delivered to the Tabernacle Christian Centre in London.
