Children at Bright Horizons Crewe Day Nursery and Preschool have been busy celebrating National Health and Safety Week.
The children discussed and practiced walking up the stairs safely, the importance of wearing high-vision jackets when appropriate to do so and they also talked about first aid kits and why we need them on-hand. Bright Horizons health and safety mascot Candy Floss has been present throughout to guide the children.
“At Bright Horizons, our main priority in the nursery is always to keep everybody safe,” said Nursery Manager Claire Chadwick. “As it is National Health and Safety Week, it was the perfect time at our Crewe Nursery to spend some time with the children and learn all about safety in the nursery. The staff have created some play and learn at home gift bags for the parents to take home with some extended safety tips.”
