Children at Bright Horizons Bruntsfield Nursery in Edinburgh recently celebrated National Health and Safety Week by talking about road safety.
The children walked to a nearby book shop where they had to cross a road on the way. Bright Horizons health and safety mascot Candy Floss was present to remind the children to watch for the green man before they crossed the road.
“We were delighted with the children’s keenness to learn more about road safety,” said Nursery Manager Karen Bell. “Once we got to the book shop we were also able to enjoy a great storytelling session and improve our reading skills.”
