Livingston children study mini beasts and bugs
Date: 05 May 2017
Children at Bright Horizons Livingston Nursery and Preschool have recently been taking an active interest in mini beasts and bugs, in particular the symmetrical patterns on each one.
The children have been practising making symmetrical patterns of their own by painting rocks to make them look like bugs. They have also been keeping an eye on the nursery bug hotel to see what kind of beasts may be staying in there.
“The children were very excited when a friendly beetle dropped by to say hello,” said Nursery Manager Karen Bell. “They showed excellent attention to detail when painting the rocks in symmetrical pattern to look like the bugs.”
