Children at Bright Horizons Dyce Early Learning and Childcare nursery in Aberdeen have been putting some loose parts scattered around the nursery to good use.
The children used gutters from the garden to make slides, which they were then able to pour water down by collecting rainwater in unused pots and pans. A bucket was then placed at the bottom to collect what had washed out.
“They had great fun using trial and error methods to create paths for the water to flow down,” said Nursery Manager Rhona Jamieson. “We also developed by social skills and turn taking, whilst experiencing different weather conditions.”
