Court Oak children discover transient art technique
Date: 24 May 2017
Children at Bright Horizons Court Oak Kindergarten in Harborne, Birmingham recently took part in a transient art exercise, as part of the organisation’s Growing Artists enhancement.
The children were tasked with using their imagination to create an image using a variety of materials including paper, plastic and wool.
“What the children really loved was that they could change what they had done,” said Nursery Manager Nicola Terry. “But the exercise also showed off the children as individual artists.”Bright Horizons’ Growing Artists enhancement aims to encourage children to be creative in art.
