St Mary’s children improve art skills with tie dye experiment
Date: 23 May 2017
Children at Bright Horizons St Mary’s Day Nursery and Preschool in Abingdon recently took part in a tie dye experiment as part of the organisation’s Growing Artists enhancement.
The children used a range of brightly coloured paints and baby wipes to create the tie dye effect. They dipped a baby wipe into the colours and then unravelled to see the effect they had made.
“They children loved this messy play activity, experimenting to see what new colours could be made by mixing them all together,” said Deputy Nursery Manager Lauren Sanders.
Bright Horizons Growing Artists enhancement aims to encourage children to be creative in art.
