Teddies Esher children have fun planting seeds

Date: 27 Mar 2017

Children at Bright Horizons Teddies Esher Day Nursery and Preschool in Surrey have been taking advantage of the spring weather by planting seeds in the nursery garden.

The children have been spending more time in the garden recently observing the plants and their parents provided them with seeds for planting. Each child took turns to collect soil and plant the seeds. The exercise was part of the Bright Horizons Green Gardeners enhancement.

“We will be watering and looking after them on a regular basis and watching them grow,” said Nursery Manager Ashlea Sexton. “The children are excited to watch the seeds grow over the coming months.”

Bright Horizons’ Green Gardeners enhancement aims to provide children with opportunities to interact with the natural world around them.
