Horseshoe children discuss healthy and unhealthy foods

Children at Bright Horizons Horseshoe Day Nursery and Preschool in Surrey have recently been discussing both healthy and unhealthy foods, including a variety of fruit.
As part of the Bright Horizons Creative Cooks enhancement, the children then took part in an activity cutting up fruits for snacks whilst discussing the different colours and textures. They also made pizza, cakes and biscuits.
“We’ve enjoyed the responsibility of decorating and taking home food at the end of the day to show our mums and dads,” said Nursery Manager Keely Fletcher. “We are great cooks.”The Creative Cooks enhancement aims to encourage creativity in cooking.
