Children at Bright Horizons Kings Cottage Nursery in Sharnbrook, Bedfordshire have celebrated Chinese New Year by making some traditional cuisine.
The children made Chinese dumplings in an exercise part of Bright Horizons’ Creative Cooks enhancement. Each child was also assisted by a parent helper as they cooked the treats.
“The children helped to make the dough and had fun using the rolling pins,” said Nursery Manager Aimee Bishop. “They are always excited to take part in a cookery task and we were delighted with their application in this one.”
The Creative Cooks enhancement aims to encourage children to be creative when cooking.
