Children at Bright Horizons Englefield Green Day Nursery and Preschool in Egham, Surrey have delivered their biscuits to a local residents’ home.
The children took the time to make their own biscuits at the nursery, as part of the Creative Cooks programme, before delivering them to the home where they also gave a card to each of the residents. They then took part in a singing session to practice all of the songs for their Christmas play.
“The children had a great time delivering their biscuits and cards to the residents, who were very appreciative of our visit,” said Sarah Johnston, deputy nursery manager. “We look forward to visiting them again at Easter.”
Bright Horizons’ Creative Cooks programme encourages creativity in cooking.
