St John’s Wood pyjama day raises money for charities
Date: 24 Nov 2016
A pyjama day held at Bright Horizons St John’s Wood Nursery and Preschool has helped to raise funds for Children in Need and the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children.
A number of parents were in attendance to place donations inside the collection boxes, with the day raising a combined total of £180 for both charities.
“We were delighted that our pyjama day was so well attended and we were able to raise money for two causes obviously very close to our hearts,” said Nursery Manager Sara Fleischer.
Set up in 2005, the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children’s sole purpose is to help children and families in crisis. They achieve this by working with local community groups, shelters and with Bright Horizons clients to create Bright Spaces®, which are indoor and outdoor play spaces located in homeless shelters, domestic violence refuges and refugee centres.
The spaces are created in order to provide children and families in need with a special place to play, have fun and most of all feel safe.
