Rugby children discuss bonfire safety

Date: 27 Oct 2016

Children at Bright Horizons Rugby Beehive Nursery recently took part in a bonfire safety discussion to ensure they remain safe next week.

Accompanied by Bright Horizons health and safety mascot Candy Floss, the children discussed safety around bonfire night including not staying a safe distance away from fireworks. They then took part in a splatter painting exercise, as part of the Growing Artists programme, to create firework images.

“Safety is at the forefront of our education programme and the children showed great enthusiasm to learn how to stay safe on bonfire night,” said Nichola Patel, nursery manager. “They are now very excited to take part in the festivities.”
