Children at Bright Horizons Maidstone Day Nursery have been learning about the importance of dental hygiene as part of Growing Up Healthy Week.
The children were taught brushing techniques for the best results and also took part in a role play as dentists. They used toothbrushes and toothpaste in order to clean toy teeth.
“Learning about cleaning our teeth has encouraged the children to make sure they are brushing their own teeth regularly and thoroughly,” said Nursery Manager Jenna Spring-Gay. “We were pleased we were able to promote the importance of personal hygiene to them in a proactive way as part of Growing Up Healthy Week.”
