Children learn of healthy eating habits

Date: 01 Sep 2016

Preschool children at Bright Horizons Teddies Basingstoke have been learning of the importance of a healthy breakfast as part of the organisation’s Growing Up Healthy programme.

The children have been self-serving during breakfast at the nursery which has included dishing up their own cereal and spreading butter onto their toast.

Bright Horizons health and safety mascot Candy Floss has also been present to help the children and ensure their safety at all times.

“We are pleased with the children’s enthusiasm for our Growing Up Healthy programme,” said Deirdre Mellors, nursery manager. “This encourages child independence and prepares them for their development milestones further on in their life.”

Bright Horizons is committed to serving healthy, balanced and nutritious foods that give your child all of the energy they need for a busy day of play, learning and development.
