Step into Purley Day Nursery and Preschool, where our devoted and highly qualified staff are committed to nurturing and educating children aged 3 months to 5 years. Benefiting from extended operating hours, the nursery is conveniently located right next to Purley train station and a 2-minute walk from the main high-street.

From the beginning, our curriculum ensures that your child get the best start to their schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused activities, designed by our own Early Years specialists.

Alongside exploring our bright and spacious classrooms , your child will benefit from using our exciting indoor activity room and sensory area, allowing them to improve their physical development, motor skills, and balance, regardless of the weather.

Our baby room for the under 2s have their own balcony garden and their room features a home living baby unit where the children enjoy eating and socialising at a dining room table. We provide large armchairs for the children to enjoy their milk, to get cosy with a book or have some one-to-one time with their key worker.

Our preschool room is attached to the main garden and we have a programme focused on guiding and teaching essential skills needed to prepare them for school. In their learning room, preschool children can concentrate on small group activities and ICT skills. For older children, the Ready for School programme brings structure and focus to maths, reading, writing, and other necessary skills for a confident school.

For our extra curriculum activities, we offer PE lessons on a Monday morning for over 2 year olds, and on a weekly basis, we host ‘Theatrebugs’ sessions for all ages. These sessions allow children to explore stories in new ways through songs, instruments, and imaginary play. Whether your child is a ‘Caterpillar’, ‘Cocoon’ or ‘Butterfly’, they’ll get to meet new characters, stretch their imaginations, and have a lot of fun with fully interactive story sessions that are perfectly pitched for their age group.

Along with our enhanced and enriched learning programmes, Purley Day Nursery is excited to partner with Superstar Sports, the leading UK supplier of nursery sports coaching. They deliver fun and engaging sports sessions for children that follow the early years guidelines are Ofsted approved. While your child is busy exploring and having fun, we can keep you updated via our Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep you connected with your child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time with us.
