Carshalton Day Nursery and Preschool

Welcome to Carshalton Day Nursery and Preschool where our dedicated staff provide children aged 3 months to 5 years with the care and early education, they need to give them the very best start. With less than a 15-minute walk to Carshalton and Carshalton Beeches train station, close to the town centre and with a secure buggy park, to aid our commuting parents.

There is lots of space for your child to learn and explore, with bright and colourful age-specific rooms. Our cosy baby room is for those aged from 3 months to confident walkers and features lots of low-level, stimulating activities and resources to aid development.

In the toddler room, they will start exploring with their newfound confidence as they make exciting discoveries and develop relationships.

Our lovely 2 to 3s room supports your child’s interests and independence with activities planned around their emerging passions. Potty training is supported with our experienced staff, supporting children’s toileting independence. Writing and communication skills are built on in our rising 3s room. Children are always encouraged to make decisions and choices.

The rising 3s room leads onto our School Ready room, where children about to embark on their next step are helped to prepare for school.

Children love our spacious outdoor area, partly sheltered, for all weather play, here they can explore, play and improve their physical strength and balance; and while your child is busy exploring and having fun, we can keep you updated via our Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep you connected with your child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time with us.

We encourage community enrichment by taking the children to local places where they can enjoy unique learning opportunities, such as parks, Carshalton Ponds, and other nearby shops.

Parent partnership is encouraged and valued. Termly meetings are arranged with parent reps from each room to discuss Nursery life.
