Coulsdon Day Nursery and Preschool

At Bright Horizons Coulsdon Day Nursery and Preschool, our long-standing dedicated team nurtures children aged 3 months to 5 years, conveniently located near Coulsdon Town Centre and Coulsdon South Station with onsite parking.

We enable children to gently adapt to a new routine and build strong bonds with our practitioners and enrich children's experiences with local excursions.

Throughout our age-focused rooms, where we provide the best start to schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by our own Early Years specialists. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child's wellbeing, development, and progress, whether that involves transitioning between rooms or preparing for school.

In our Bluebells room, children aged 3 months to 2 years enjoy sensory activities and peaceful naps.

The room has a sectioned-off non-mobile baby area, a separate playroom, freeflow access to the baby garden and a separate sleep room for napping.

As they move into their bright and spacious Daisy room, the children aged 2-3 really start to develop their sense of self, becoming independent. Our room is divided into two areas based on the children’s ages and stages of development. The play-based learning continues, adding in new experiences in our home corner, art area, cosy book nook, exciting construction area and a dedicated sensory room where children are encouraged to have quiet reflection time.

Our preschool room offers a comprehensive learning environment with a dedicated reading room, and free access to the spacious garden. We are also proud to partner with Superstar Sports, a leading UK provider of nursery sports coaching, approved by Ofsted, to enhance physical education.

We love to get outside and enjoy our natural spaces, so learning is often taken outside into the garden to explore the mud kitchen, our growing garden, bikes, a climbing frame, and a bug hotel; and while your child is busy exploring and having fun, we can keep you updated via our Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep you connected with your child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time with us.

When you begin your journey here with us, we offer you and your child settling in sessions before your start date, this is to help settle both children and parents into a new environment and help get to know the team. These range from 1 hour to maximum to 4 hours.
