Caterham The Laurels Day Nursery and Preschool

Caterham The Laurels Day Nursery and Preschool is designed to support your child's development, from the age of 3 months to 5 years.

We make use of the ample space at our nursery by creating separate indoor activity areas. This includes a Creative Cooks section, ICT suite and an 'area of interest'. The theme of this area, designed to engage children in new ideas based on their interests, is chosen by a rotating preschool committee made of four children.

Alongside the curriculum, an enriching Ready for School programme gives every child the opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond.

Our nursery in Caterham has an expansive garden. Children can choose to play in the mud kitchen or settle down in the summer months with a book in the outdoor learning library. We even have a separate area for the use of bikes, scooters and tricycles.

Ofsted have recognised our efforts to deliver excellent care and education with a Good rating in their latest inspection.

Our Caterham nursery is situated in a leafy residential area, directly opposite Town End Recreation Ground where we take the children in Summer. We have a parent drop-off zone and parking facilities for your convenience, and are a twenty minute walk from Caterham Station.
