Banstead Day Nursery and Preschool

Bright Horizons Banstead Day Nursery and Preschool is a fantastic, purpose-built nursery with specialist rooms designed for each developmental stage. Situated just off the A217, and within walking distance of Banstead village, the nursery has ample parking to ease your drop-offs and pick-ups as well as a convenient buggy park.

At our nursery your child will get the best start to their schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by our own Early Years specialists.

In our baby room, the babies enjoy a home from home environment where we support children with everything from building their first relationships to taking their first steps. The babies take part in lots of sensory and heuristic play as they begin to make sense of the world around them.

As our children grow from babies to toddlers, in our 1-2’s and 2-3’s rooms, they begin to build friendships, and enjoy taking part in imaginative play, exploring our home corners and other everyday resources. Creativity continues with bespoke activity planners, with our staff planning different engaging activities every week.

Our holistic, personalised approach supports your child throughout their time with us, preparing them for school and beyond. Children love our Boogie Mites sessions, where they learn about the world through music and song. Preschoolers build confidence in reading, writing, math, art, and more through our Ready for School Programme, while also practicing life skills like serving at mealtimes, tying shoelaces, toilet training, and effective communication.

We are fortunate to have a lovely garden for all ages. Your child will love exploring their large, free-flow garden with its nature trail and forest area. Whether playing in the mud kitchen, digging, or experimenting with sand and water play, there's always something new to discover in the fresh air.

Their delicious meals and snacks are planned by professional nutritionists and freshly prepared by their on-site chef and we also cater for specific dietary needs.

Whilst your child is busy exploring and having fun, we can keep you updated via our Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep you connected with your child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time with us.
