A 'Bright Beginning' for Every Child

Designed by our Early Years specialists, your little one will get the best start to their schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum.

Building on the foundations of the government's EYFS curriculum, it combines a wide range of activities to nurture and develop the skills your child needs to flourish and reach their full potential. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child's wellbeing, development, and progress - whether that's moving rooms or preparing them for school.

You can stay updated with your child's day through our Bright Horizons Family app.

Active Learning in the Garden

Your child will love having freeflow access to our large, beautiful garden, which is separated into age groups, so they always have the best resources for their development.

There is so much for your little one to discover, including climbing frames, toys, messy play, flower boxes, a summer house and much more. We also have a lovely nature trail where we go for walks and explore creepy crawlies and the natural environment.

Rae Grace

I have been part of the Bright Horizons family since June 2010 starting my journey within the Watford nursery and transferring to The Park. I have grown from a Nursery Nurse to Deputy Manager throughout the years which has given me a head start to take on my new role as Nursery Manager at The Park.

I have a passion to help watch children learn, develop and grow as we plant the seeds and build foundations for their future. I have extensive experience with SEN and supporting children with additional needs to achieve their full potential and supporting the families with this too. I am passionate

As a mum to a very active 3 year old she keeps me busy when I am not at the nursery.

I am very passionate about meeting the individual needs of each child and giving them the best possible start to life and working in partnership with parents and families.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!

Why Bright Horizons

The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
