The Park Watford Day Nursery and Preschool

Welcome to Bright Horizons The Park Day Nursery and Preschool, dedicated to giving children aged 3 months to 5 years. Our nursery has excellent transport links, located close to Watford Junction and Watford Overground stations and with flexible opening times we are perfect for working families.

Across our age-focused rooms, we offer an exceptional start to schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by our own Early Years specialists. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child's wellbeing, development, and progress, whether that involves transitioning between rooms or preparing for school.

Babies will feel right at home in our baby room, which caters for our 0–2-year-olds is spread across three different rooms and includes a cosy sleep room and toddler gym. While the Toddler room has plenty of space, where they enjoy sensory soft play and sensory baskets within the room a low-level toilet area to support your child with toilet training.

Our preschool room offers different areas for your aspiring learner to explore, including corners for reading and a playdough station for creativity. We also have a self-regulation area, helping children understand and manage their emotions using breathing techniques and emotion cushions. With the guidance of our team and a calming environment enhanced by twinkly fairy lights, our preschoolers enjoy busy and varied days.

In our school readiness room we use the Ready for School Programme where your child will learn the essential skills for them to take their next steps.

Moving outside, your child will have access to our large garden, which is separated into different learning areas, so our children always have the best resources for their development. There is so much for your child to discover, including toys, messy play, growing gardens and much more. We also have a lovely nature trail where we go for walks and explore creepy crawlies and the natural environment.

While your child is busy exploring and having fun, we can keep you updated via our Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep you connected with your child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time with us.
