Hatch End Day Nursery and Preschool

Welcome to Bright Horizons Hatch End Day Nursery and Preschool, where our warm and nurturing practitioners provide the best care and early education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. We are conveniently located just 5 minutes from Hatch End station, close to North Harrow tube, within proximity to the M25 and M1, and situated within the catchment area of Grimsdyke School, Pinner Wood, Pinner Park, Cannon Lane, and St. Helens.

Across our age-focused rooms, we offer an exceptional start to schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by our own Early Years specialists. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child's wellbeing, development, and progress, whether that involves transitioning between rooms or preparing for school. We also offer weekly Spanish lesson for all ages delivered by our qualified Spanish teacher.

Our babies benefit from a ‘home from home’ room complete with snuggle chair and sensory spaces throughout to support co-regulation, attachments and relationships.

We hold baby messy stay-and-play sessions every Friday, where you can come to the nursery and join your child with painting, sand play, and other sensory activities. Spaces can be booked in the nursery or over the phone.

Preschoolers benefit from a Bright Beginnings Room and a range of amazing ICT equipment, which includes a touchscreen computer to encourage literacy and language skills.

To ensure your aspiring learner is confident to start school, our older children take part in our Ready for School programme, which brings structure and focus to maths, reading, writing, and other essential skills they need to get ready for school.

We’re fortunate to have an amazing outdoor space at our nursery in Hatch End. The garden offers free flow access from the classrooms and has covered areas so it can be enjoyed whatever the weather. Babies and younger children have their own dedicated, enclosed garden space, which features a teepee, hobbit house, mud kitchen and soft AstroTurf flooring. Toddlers and Preschoolers love their adventure gardens, which has climbing frames, racetracks, nature areas for planting, bug hotels, a stage, water features and sandpits.

While your child is busy exploring and having fun, we can keep you updated via our Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep you connected with your child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time with us.
