My journey with Bright Horizons started through a company acquisition in 2009 and I have been Nursery Manager at RAF Northolt since October 2012. I have a BTEC National diploma in childhood studies and have over 20 years’ experience. My passion for childcare and Early Years started with a year 10 work experience position and has grown over the years of working within the childcare sector in various roles. I enjoy working with people and believe that childcare is one of the most rewarding jobs you can do. Watching the children grow into active learners, where their individuality can shine and their confidence grows. Working with a motivated staff team all striving for the same outcome and learning opportunities for the children in a safe and stimulating environment. I am also passionate about supporting our families on their journey through their child’s early years.
My name is Lauren, I have worked within Bright Horizons since 2010 I then joined RAF Northolt in 2015. I have been working in childcare for ten years; I have worked with ages from 3 months to 3 years. I have a level 3 NVQ in Childcare and Education. I enjoy watching children grow and develop through the different activities that are provided; I enjoy supporting members of staff with their own growth and professional development, working together to provide the best opportunities for children and families that attend our nursery.
The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
