Welcome to Bright Horizons Swanscombe Day Nursery and Preschool, where we provide quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Our care thrives on the keyperson approach, ensuring each child receives individualised attention, support and nurture.

We are conveniently located just half a mile from the town centre, and we offer onsite parking and buggy park, within close proximity to Swanscombe and Ebbsfleet international train stations. We are able cater to your child beyond regular nursery hours (7:00am to 6:30pm).

Our delightful baby area boasts three light and airy rooms for children from 3 months to 2 years. Here we support their development by having access to a wide range of stimulating opportunities and experiences, through exploring, creating and being active.

For toddlers aged 2 to 3 years, our spacious toddler unit with two lovely rooms is designed to foster independence. With the guidance of our skilled practitioners, we look forward to sharing the journey partnering together in their early development and education.

In our preschool, children aged 3 to 5 years find an environment rich in opportunities for independence, with lots of space and exciting activities. We also offer a ‘Ready for School’ room where we empower children approaching school age with essential skills, fostering confidence, and facilitating a seamless transition to school.

Designed by Bright Horizons Early Years specialists, your little one will get the very best start through our enriching and wellbeing focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum. This holistic, yet personal approach supports each child’s development and progress- whether that’s building academic skills, personal resilience, confidence to move rooms or preparing them for school.

Each of our rooms has a designated garden area which provides fantastic outdoor opportunities to free flow and for children to develop and learn. Equipped with age-appropriate equipment, each garden feature covered areas, playground equipment and sensory resources.

In addition, our nursery boasts a sensory garden comprising dedicated gardening areas and a natural forest environment, enriching the educational journey of our young leaders. We are also investing in the professional development of one of our senior leaders, who is undergoing training as a Forest School teacher. This will provide an exceptional learning opportunity for our children.
