A nurturing and inspiring nursery in Eltham

Welcome to Eltham Elizabeth Terrace Day Nursery and Preschool, where our experienced and passionate team is dedicated to providing the very best care and early education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Spacious Rooms with Excellent Resources

Your little one will love spending their days in one of our three bright and spacious rooms. Each room encourages independence and has a freeflow policy, which allows your child to choose their own activities and follow their interests and curiosities.

From our cosy baby room to the colourful and exciting nursery and preschool rooms, your child will have the opportunity to play, make friends, and get ready for their next steps.

A Bright Beginning for Every Child

Designed by our Early Years specialists, your little one will get the best start to their schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum

Building on the foundations of the government's EYFS curriculum, it combines a wide range of activities to nurture and develop the skills your child needs to flourish and reach their full potential. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child's wellbeing, development, and progress - whether that's moving rooms or preparing them for school.

Children also enjoy Boogie Mites music sessions where they can learn about the world through music and song.

You can stay updated with your child's day through our Bright Horizons Family app.

Discoveries in the Garden

Little explorers will have so much fun in our beautiful garden, which offers plenty of opportunities to play, learn, and discover. Our Eltham nursery garden has different areas for each of the age groups, so your little one will have access to the best resources for their development.

With a sandpit, lots of toys, and even a planting area where your child can grow their own fruits, vegetables, and flowers, there are always new opportunities for learning and fun.

All-Inclusive Care and Convenience

  • Nutritionally balanced meals are prepared daily by our onsite chef. Our all-inclusive care extends to snacks, nappies, wipes, formula, and creams
  • Onsite car park and buggy park
  • Drop-off and collection point
  • Our nursery in Eltham is set just behind the high street and is close to Sundridge Park, Bromley North, and Eltham train stations and local bus routes

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!

Why Bright Horizons

The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
