Elizabeth Terrace Day Nursery and Preschool is conveniently situated on Elizabeth Terrace, just behind Eltham High Street within five minutes' walking distance of Eltham train station and all bus routes.
There are three light and welcoming rooms with a free-flow policy, which allows children to choose their own activities and follow their interests. Each room is plentifully equipped with age-appropriate resources and wooden furniture. Interactive whiteboards and touchscreen computers help children grow in confidence with IT as they learn about the world around them. Our stunning garden offers plenty of opportunities for exploration and play.There is a sandpit and a planting area where children can grow flowers, fruit and vegetables. Some of the produce even makes it into our meals!
Our fees are now fully inclusive of wipes, nappies, creams and milk for all age groups.
Our delicious, healthy and nutritious food is sourced from trusted suppliers and changes on a weekly basis with seasonal variations. All dishes are prepared and cooked by our very own chef who caters for all special dietary requirements. Our kitchen holds a 5* EHO rating for food safety and hygiene.
We are open 51 weeks of the year, and we will be delighted to welcome you to Elizabeth Terrace Day Nursery and Preschool. Our friendly, experienced and highly qualified staff are on hand to conduct a personal nursery tour at a time to suit you.

I hold a level 4 qualification in Childcare & Education and have been at Elizabeth Terrace since 1998. I have lived in Eltham the majority of my life, and I have extensive knowledge of the local community and area.
I have 23 years’ experience in the childcare sector. I am proud that at Elizabeth Terrace we have a very low staff turnover, positive relationships with all of our families and an excellent word of mouth reputation.I am passionate about my role as manager and thrive when seeing children and my team achieve new goals. I am committed to ensuring my team deliver high quality childcare each and every day. A happy and knowledgeable team results in happy, healthy children and ensures that every child and parent feels safe, secure and a part of the family
Carrie has worked for the company and within childcare for over 10 years. Carrie is a level 3 qualified member of staff & is extremely passionate about her role within the nursery. Carrie loves to support the development and growth of the children within the nursery.
Maxine has worked here since 2000 taking a break in 2010 to go and to a forensic psychology degree. She returned in 2014 and holds an NVQ 3 in childcare.
