Longfield Day Nursery and Preschool

Welcome to Longfield Day Nursery and Preschool, where our qualified and enthusiastic staff are dedicated to the care and early education of all children aged 3 months to 5 years. Our nursery in Longfield is located close to Longfield train station and we have onsite parking.

In our cosy baby room, we follow your child’s routine from home as closely as possible, to ensure a smooth transition. We have a dedicated sleeping room to ensure peaceful naps and an engaging sensory room that all the children enjoy.

Our toddler room allows opportunity for the children to develop skills to support them moving into the nursery room and begin to explore through engaging activities.

While our 2 to 3-year-olds room is full of fun learning opportunities. We follow your child’s individual interests and plan activities around them. The children love exploring the play trays, role-play areas, and low-level resources throughout the day.

The preschool rooms are bright and spacious with excellent equipment and are designed to support your little learner as they prepare to start school. To ensure your little learner is confident to start school, our older children take part in our Ready for School programme, which brings structure and focus to maths, reading, writing, and other essential skills they need to get ready for school.

Our all-weather garden is full of exciting resources and activities for your little explorer to play with. The spacious garden is divided into age-specific areas and offers freeflow access from the classrooms. From a trike track and climbing frame, to play trays and a beautiful forest school garden, there is always something new to discover and fresh learning opportunities to be had; and while your child is busy exploring and having fun, we can keep you updated via our Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep you connected with your child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time with us.

To ensure your child is fully settled into our nursery we plan settling sessions over a 6-week period to ensure we cover all aspects of the day. Children as well as parents feel very settled before they start ensuring a smooth transition into nursery life.
