An outstanding nursery in Eltham dedicated to your child

Welcome to our Ofsted Outstanding nursery in Eltham, where our exceptional team delivers the best learning and care for little ones aged 3 months to 5 years.

Excellent Rooms and Resources

In our calm baby room, practitioners follow your baby's routine from home as closely as possible. Babies have a separate cot room and freeflow access to their own garden.

Older babies have a beautiful, spacious room where they benefit from freeflow access to the messy play and soft play areas as well as their own dedicated garden.

2-3-year-olds are encouraged to follow their own interests, and activities are based around them, helping them meet their individual milestones.

Preschoolers will feel excited and confident to start school in their room, where they are taught the essential skills they need to prepare them for their next step.

Our 2-3 and preschool classrooms have freeflow access to a large, shared garden.

A Bright Beginning for Every Child

Designed by our Early Years specialists, your little one will get the best start to their schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum.

Building on the foundations of the government's EYFS curriculum, it combines a wide range of activities to nurture and develop the skills your child needs to flourish and reach their full potential. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child's wellbeing, development, and progress - whether that's moving rooms or preparing them for school.

Children also enjoy Boogie Mites music sessions where they can learn about the world through music and song.

You can stay updated with your child's day through our Bright Horizons Family app.

Beautiful Garden Areas for All Ages

Your child will enjoy plenty of fresh air in our large garden, which is carefully designed to accommodate the different age groups separately.

Our all-weather garden has lots of exciting areas to discover, including a mud kitchen and a creative area where your child can plant flowers and tasty vegetables.

We also benefit from an outdoor classroom area, so more of the children's learning can take place outside.

All-Inclusive Care and Convenience

  • Nutritionally balanced meals are prepared by our onsite chef. Our all-inclusive care extends to snacks, nappies, wipes, formula, and creams.
  • Flexible start and finish times.
  • Onsite buggy shed.
  • Our Eltham nursery is located close to Eltham train station.
  • Stay and play sessions available.

Sofreene Gordon

I have worked in childcare for over 11 years. I have experience in working with children aged from 3 months to 5 years old.

I currently hold NVQ Level 3 in children's care, learning and development.

I have worked my way up the ladder throughout my career working in different settings which I have thoroughly enjoyed.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!

Why Bright Horizons

The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
