Welcome to Peckham Rye Day Nursery and Preschool. Our lovely purpose-built nursery and nurturing staff are dedicated to providing the very best care and early education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Inspiring Rooms for Each Age Group

In our cosy baby room, we follow your child’s home routine as closely as possible, to ensure a smooth transition into nursery life. Our baby and toddler rooms share a lovely garden space, which can be accessed throughout the day.

Independence and communication are encouraged and supported in our bright toddler room, where we also support toilet training. While in our nursery room, 2 to 3-year-olds start to develop the skills they need to get them ready to start preschool.

Preschoolers have lots of space in their nurturing room, as well as freeflow access to the garden which they can use whenever they choose. In preschool, we work with your little one to gain the skills they need to feel confident and prepared to start school.

Children also enjoy Boogie Mites music sessions where they can learn about the world through music and song.

A Bright Beginning for Every Child

Your little one will get the best start to their schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by our own Early Years specialists.

Building on the foundations of the government’s EYFS curriculum, Bright Beginnings combines a wide range of activities to nurture and develop the skills your child needs to flourish and reach their full potential. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child’s wellbeing, development, and progress – whether that’s moving rooms or preparing them for school.

Getting Ready for Their Next Steps

To ensure your little learner is confident to start school, our older children take part in our Ready for School programme, which brings structure and focus to maths, reading, writing, and other essential skills they need to get ready for school.

Along with our enhanced and enriched learning programmes Peckham Rye Day Nursery is excited to partner with Superstar Sports. Superstar sports are the leading UK supplier of nursery sports coaching. They deliver fun and engaging sports sessions for children that follow the early years guidelines are Ofsted approved.

Beautiful Outdoor Space

Our large, newly-refurbished garden is divided into age-specific areas and is full of beautiful resources to explore. Your little one can have fun discovering the water feature, digging area, growing area, racing track, sandpit, and much more. Each room offers free-flow access to the garden, allowing your child to enjoy the fresh air throughout the day.

As well as our beautiful garden, we’re fortunate to be located close to Peckham Rye Park, and the children enjoy walks to the nature garden, feeding the ducks at the pond, and having fun in the playground.

All-Inclusive Care and Convenience

• Nutritionally-balanced meals are prepared daily by our onsite chef. Our all-inclusive care extends to snacks, nappies, wipes, formula, and sun cream.
• Onsite buggy park.
• Our nursery in Peckham Rye is conveniently located close to Peckham Rye and Nunhead train stations.
• Located within the catchment of many schools including Ivydale, Goose Green, Haberdasher’s, James Alleyn, Dulwich College, and Goodwich.
