Maythorne Cottages Day Nursery and Preschool

Welcome to Maythorne Cottages Day Nursery and Preschool, offering dedicated care and education for children aged 3 months to 3 years. Our nursery in Hither Green is located close to Hither Green station and Lewisham tube and benefits from extended opening hours, spanning from 7:45 am to 6:30 pm.

Throughout our age-focused rooms, we provide the best start to schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by our own Early Years specialists. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child's wellbeing, development, and progress, whether that involves transitioning between rooms or preparing for school.

Each of our rooms are bright and engaging and filled with resources and activities to support your child in every way. From cosy reading nooks and role-play areas, to play trays and arts and crafts stations, there is always something new to discover.

Moving to outside, we have a lovely garden space for your little one to enjoy. The gardens benefit from freeflow access from the classrooms, allowing your child to choose whether to play inside or out. The garden is landscaped with plenty of covered areas, so fun can be had come rain or shine.

We are also excited to be partnered with Superstar sports. Superstar Sports are a leading UK supplier of nursery sports coaching who deliver fun and engaging sports session for children that follow the early years guidelines and are Ofsted approved. In addition, we offer Boogie mites an interactive music and movement session, which is loved by children of all ages and provides exciting opportunities to learn about the world through music and song.

And while your child is busy exploring and having fun, we can keep you updated via our Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep you connected with your child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time with us.
