I hold a Level 3 CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education and worked with Bright Horizons Lewisham for 2 years as a Deputy Manager before progressing onto Nursery Manager.
I have over 9 years’ experience in early years childcare and in that time I have delivered high quality childcare to hundreds of families. As a manager, my aim now is to inspire my team to deliver the best outcomes for our children and their families.
“There is nothing more rewarding than supporting children to grow, achieve and reach their full potential. I take pride in providing an exceptional child care experience for families and enjoy seeing the positive difference it makes”.
I’m extremely proud of the nursery and our recent refurbishment means that it looks and feels the best it ever has. Standards are high here and we instil a culture of pride and dedication in our nursery team.
I have been in the childcare sector for over thirty years. Still today, it remains the main goal to make a difference and enrich the lives of all the children I meet. To give children from many social and cultural backgrounds, huge opportunities to learn. I have many years of childcare experience and training, including my NNEB Diploma in Childcare and Education, and my Bachelor of Science Honour’s degree in Technology and Education.
Over the years I have supported, trained or mentored staff, colleagues and friends. My career started as deputy manager, with Teddies Nursery, now Bright Horizons, in August 2005. I worked in nurseries then joined head office in the IT Department, before joining the Early Years Team then the Commercial Marketing Team. Now I'm thrilled to be back in a nursery setting.
The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
