Heron Quays Day Nursery & Preschool

Heron Quays nursery and preschool is a spacious nursery where we aim to work with our families to support children’s individual development and learning outcomes. Nestled in the heart of Canary Wharf’s Heron Quays, our location offers an ideal base for busy parents working at the Wharf. We’re just a short stroll from both the Heron Quays DLR station and Canary Wharf Underground station, and we provide a convenient car park to ease pick-ups and drop-offs, as well as a milk-station and nursing area for added comfort. Additionally, our parents’ space gives families a private and welcoming area to chat with us about your child’s needs.

Our purpose-built five nursery rooms, are all tailored to the specific needs of different age groups, fostering individual learning and development. Your baby will be fully supported moving from home to nursery as we follow their individual routines, making this a smooth and positive transition for all the family. We have a beautiful outside area and all-weather adventure garden where our children enjoy a range of activities.

For older children, when it comes to outdoor play, your child will be truly spoiled with our beautiful garden area and adventure garden, which includes age-appropriate toys and activities. The children love going on outings in Canary Wharf to explore the local area, 'dig' the local construction work, and watch the boats as we walk along the pier.

Our curriculum is built on the foundations of the government's EYFS curriculum, it combines a wide range of activities to nurture and develop the skills your child needs to flourish and reach their full potential. And while your child is busy exploring and having fun, we can keep you updated via our Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep you connected with your child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time with us. We also offer all-inclusive care with an onsite chef providing nutritionally balanced meals, and our fees include snacks, nappies, wipes, formula, and creams.
