Meet the Team

Marian Trigg

I started working for Bright Horizons in 2010 at our Twickenham Nursery and transferred to Wimbledon in 2013 when the nursery first opened.

I have worked in the Early Years Sector for over 14 years, working in a variety of different settings and with a various age range of children but predominantly birth to five years. I have a strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and how best to support children in their development. In 2012 I completed my Foundation Stage degree in Early Years Childcare and Education. I have experience not only with Early Years but also within Management and have been a Nursery Manager in several settings. I am also the lead Safeguarding Officer within the nursery as well as being SENCO trained and First Aid Qualified.
I have found Wimbledon House Nursery to be a very happy, loving nursery which holds some excellent staff and beautiful children. The nursery boasts some amazing resources for the children to develop and grow and I am very proud to be managing such a stimulating and enriching nursery.

Joana Carvalho

I began working for Bright Horizons in 2013. I worked my way up from nursery nurse to deputy in another setting.

I hold a level 3 qualification in childcare and education as well as a qualification in health and socialcare.

I have experience in being the settings special needs coordinator and I lead on planning support for individual children, external agencies and colleagues. I am part of the safeguarding team within the setting as well as holding a first aid qualification. I have a real passion for what I do and love seeing the children grow, learn and develop their independence. I have worked with children from 3 months to 5 years and will continue to achieve and maintain high standards of care and education throughout the nursery. I recently moved to Wimbledon House in February 2017 and I’m enjoying working here.
