Why Children Love Us

A place to grow

Our nursery setting is open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30, for children aged 3 months to 5 years. We offer a warm, welcoming environment supporting the transition from home to nursery, and we provide excellent nutritionally-balanced menus using fresh ingredients prepared by our own chef. All fees are inclusive of branded nappies, wipes, nappy cream and, should a parent wish, formula milk.

Meet the Team

Marian Trigg

I started my journey with Bright Horizons in December 2010 as a Nursery Manager at our Twickenham Day Nursery. After a couple of years, I transferred over to Bright Horizons Wimbledon House Day Nursery in which I had the opportunity to open a brand new nursery which opened in June 2013.

After 4 years at Wimbledon House, I am very much looking forward to continuing my journey at Raynes Park.

I have worked in the Early Years Sector for over 17 years, working in a variety of different settings and with a various age range of children but predominantly birth to five years. I have a strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and how best to support children in their development. In 2012 I completed my Foundation Stage degree in Early Years Childcare and Education. My passion lies in striving for excellence, and to ensure that each child has the very best start in life.

I have been at Raynes Park Bright Horizons since 2008. I have a Diploma in Child Care and Education Level 3. I started my journey at Raynes Park as a Nursery Nurse in preschool, where I enjoyed watching the children strive, develop and getting them ready for school. I was then promoted to room leader in the 2-3 years room where I enjoyed guiding and encouraging the children. I then transitioned between the 2-3 years room and preschool for a couple of years before being promoted to the Deputy Manager. Throughout my time at Raynes Park, I have enjoyed liaising with many families, their children and watching them grow.

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!
