Meet the Team

Paola Testoni

I have been working as a Nursery Manager at Northcote Road Day Nursery since January 2015. I am originally from northern Italy and have been living in London for the past 23 years. I gained my NNEB Diploma in 1996 and achieved an NVQ Level 4 qualification in 2010 and have been working in childcare for over 20 years, gaining a wealth of experience in both the state and private sector and working my way up from Nursery Nurse to Room Leader, Deputy Manager and finally Nursery Manager in 2010. I absolutely love my job and I always go the extra mile to ensure that my team and I create and maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment supporting and challenging children to make the best progress they can. Joining Bright Horizons has been a huge step in my career and I am focussed on being a contributing and effective member of a large and dedicated family wishing to make a difference to children’s lives.

Rachel Aldridge

I have been working at Northcote Road Day Nursery since it opened in March 2013. When I joined the nursery I was the administrator for a few months, supporting the Manager in the office. However as soon as an opportunity to study for my Level 3 Diploma in Childcare came up, I jumped at the chance and gained my qualification in 2014. My experience with Bright Horizons started in 2009 when I held a Level 2 Qualification and accepted a role at another nursery. Following the birth of my son, I then took a career break to spend more time raising my four children. During this time I kept myself busy managing my children’s after school gymnastics club. I have now been in childcare for over 6 years, working my way up from Nursery Assistant to Room Leader and finally Deputy Manager in November 2014.
