Welcome to Wandsworth Day Nursery and Preschool. Our long-standing and highly-experienced team are dedicated to providing the best care and early education to children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Wandsworth Common nursery has five large, bright rooms offering plenty of space for your child to learn and explore. Each room has been tailored to support the developmental needs of each of our age groups.

Resources in the rooms are thoughtfully arranged with everything at a low level for all ages to access independently, and our lovely home corners help to make the children feel comfortable and safe.

A Bright Beginning for Every Child

Your little one will get the best start to their schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by our own Early Years specialists.

Building on the foundations of the government's EYFS curriculum, Bright Beginnings combines a wide range of activities to nurture and develop the skills your child needs to flourish and reach their full potential. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child's wellbeing, development, and progress – whether that's moving rooms or preparing them for school.

Getting Ready for Their Next Steps

To ensure your little learner is confident to start school, our older children take part in our Ready for School programme, which brings structure and focus to maths, reading, writing, and other essential skills they need to get ready for school.

Discovering the Garden

Each nursery room has freeflow access to garden spaces for the children to play, have fun, explore and learn. In our main garden, we have a mud kitchen and plant patches to grow a variety of fruit and vegetables, supporting our Growing Gardeners programme.

There are areas offering lots of physical fun, with bikes and scooters for the children to enjoy and the under 2s have their very own safe and secure outdoor space too.

We also go on trips to visit our many local parks, as well as Wandsworth Common, which is right on our doorstep.

All-Inclusive Care and Convenience

• Nutritionally-balanced meals are prepared daily by our onsite chef. Our all-inclusive care extends to snacks, nappies, wipes, formula, nappy cream, and sun cream.

• Enjoy longer opening hours of 7:30am - 6pm.
