Our nursery setting is open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30, for children aged 3 months to 5 years. 


We offer a warm, welcoming environment supporting the transition from home to nursery, and we provide excellent nutritionally-balanced menus using fresh ingredients prepared by our own chef. 


Our highly qualified team helped us secure a Good rating in our latest Ofsted inspection.

Nadia Kiani

I have been a senior nursery manager in Looking Glass nursery since September 2016 when I transferred over from our Streatham nursery. Before I joined Looking Glass I worked my way to a senior nursery manager, from being a nursery nurse to a deputy manager. I have 17 years’ experience working in the child care sector.

My role as senior nursery manager is varied, from making business decisions to playing with the children. I am responsible for all operational and regulatory aspects, building a vision which is shared by the whole team. I manage by effectively leading, inspiring potential and will engage my team to deliver exceptional care and education.  

I love to work in partnership with my parents by developing a parent advisory committee to facilitate communication, share information and allow parent input. Alongside Lauren and Emma I spend time leading by example within my staff team to reflect on practice and improve on the quality of care and education.

I am always keen to continue my professional development for myself and my staff team. I have a diploma in Montessori with a distinction as well as my NVQ level 3 diploma. I also have a bachelor degree in science. I love being a mum to my two sons who are 12 and 9 years old who keep me very active and I love spending time with them.

I love what I do and I am 110% committed to my staff, children and families.  


Emma Vincent

I have been the Deputy Manager at Looking Glass since November 2016.  I have a degree in Early Years and have 18 years experience working in the Early Years sector and 8 years experience as a Deputy Manager.

I am passionate about delivering and creating outstanding care and education. I am very proud to be working alongside Nadia and the team and it is my passion to give the children the very best start to their education. It is so rewarding to be a part of the early communities that I see form around me every day.

In my role as the Deputy Manager I am as equally involved in the care of children as I am in the general management of the nursery. I think this gives me the best of both worlds as I can help develop the future of the business while taking an active part in the development of the children I so love to work with.

Here at Looking Glass we know that your first concern is the safety of your children and we agree. I am responsible for ensuring the health and safety of every aspect of the nursery. This includes making sure that all the checks and balances are kept to, but it also means making sure that our staff are well looked after so that they in turn can look after your children. There is no typical day for me as there are no typical children here at Looking Glass. Every day and every child is different and I love that my job my job covers such broad scope.

Simone Gordon

I have been a Deputy Manager at Looking Glass since September 2018. I have worked in this branch for 2 and a half years overall. I came to Looking Glass as a Nursery Nurse, and quickly worked my way back up to room leader, third in charge and then Deputy Manager. Previous to working at Looking Glass I worked at Wandsworth Common Nursery where I under took a number of roles over my 8 years there.  I started there as a nursery nurse, then moved on to room leader after doing this for a number of years I thought I wanted a change in career and as I have a passion for cooking I took the chef position in the nursery. I was the chef for over 1 and a half years before I decided that I missed being with the children to much. So on this decision I transferred over to Looking Glass as a nursery where I worked in the Preschool room. After a short few months I took on the role of room Leader for about a year before I took a step up the career ladder and became Third in Charge.  I held this position for 11 months before taking the position of Deputy Manager.  I have been in childcare for over 12 years. I qualified with a CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education. I have worked my way up from being a nursery nurse to Deputy Manager over this time.

I am passionate in delivering outstanding and exceptional care and education to all our children and families here at Looking Glass.  I have a great role as I am able to get the best of both worlds as I can stay in touch in the development of the children and staff team and am able to work on developing the business for the future.

Here at Looking Glass we know that safety and care are your first concern. I am the Health and Safety Officer for the nursery. I am responsible for all Health and Safety aspects in the nursery. I ensure all safety checks are carried out and any work there is to be done is done in a timely manner. I also ensure all the staff are well looked after as this is paramount so in turn they are able to care for your children.

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!
