Tonbridge Day Nursery and Preschool

Welcome to Bright Horizons Tonbridge Day nursery and Preschool is a warm and welcoming nursery in Kent, situated in a converted church located a five-minute walk from Tonbridge Train Station and a ten-minute drive from the A21, making it ideal for commuting parents. We're just a 10-minute drive from the A21, and close to Tonbridge Train Station.

Across our age-focused rooms, we offer an exceptional start to schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by our own Early Years specialists. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child's wellbeing, development, and progress, whether that involves transitioning between rooms or preparing for school.

Your child will be inspired every day. Whether they are practising their communication skills in our roleplay areas, snuggling down with a book in our reading area or learning about numbers and rhyme in a Boogie Mites music session, there's always something to spark their imagination and develop their confidence.

Our baby room is from 3 months and will be set up based on your babies needs and home routines. Our baby room is a bright open space and have a separate sleep room.

Our toddler room has lots of room for your toddler to gain independence and explore a variety of different activities.

Our Preschool room offers a more structured environment to help prepare your child for their exciting next adventure—starting school! The preschoolers also have access to a small garden space for free-flow play and for growing their own plants.

Our Ready For School Programme supports your child's confidence in maths, reading, writing and art, and focuses on growing the skills and knowledge they'll need to prepare for school and beyond.

We have a separate baby garden and a larger garden for our toddlers and preschool. The garden is used in all weathers and set up to encourage and aid the children to move in a variety of ways and explore the world around us.

While your child is busy exploring and having fun, we can keep you updated via our Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep you connected with your child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time with us.

We offer settling in sessions to families prior to starting. These will be tailored to your child regarding timings and how many sessions you have and arranged by your child’s key person with you.
